Good Grief: Reclaiming Joy in Times of Extreme Change

Details

“Everything changes! Everything is impermanent!” Rick Field told me during an interview for one of my films. He would know. He was a Buddhist author and 2 weeks away from his death.

Change is the nature of human life -- aging, loss of a loved one, ending a career, losing of place, life-threatening illness, financial downturn, social unrest, weather chaos, etc. Challenges like these often trigger a stunning grief response -- inducing sorrow, disorientation, and numbness.

In my 20 years of life transformation coaching, I have found that joy can be a tonic, a respite, a renewal, and even a remedy to our major life challenges.
If you . . .

  • Are facing challenging changes in your life
  • Would benefit from a more peaceful mind
  • Need more hope and joy

I invite you to join me at my in-person Good Grief master class at the Albany Library in Albany CA on Sunday, September 22, at 1:30 pm.

You will discover how moments of joy can counter-balance sadness, create connections, replenish emotional and physical energy, and foster hope and resilience. You will learn how to:

  • Make emotional room for joy in your life
  • Reframe joy-killing thoughts
  • Increase your awareness of the joy already in your life
  • Make new social connections that support your joy

Incorporating joy into the grieving process doesn’t mean rushing the healing or forgetting the loss, but rather acknowledging that life can still hold moments of happiness alongside the sorrow.

Are you ready to take this next step?

This class is for everyone wanting to know how to allow more joy in their lives.

Post a comment or send a message if you have questions.

I look forward to seeing you,

Michelle
