The Old North Foundation is pleased to invite the public to the first lecture of its spring Speaker Series, which celebrates colonial history and Old North's impact on the American Revolution. Dr. Timothy Walker will present the history of chocolate in the context of New England and early America. The public is invited to sit in the same pews owned by Boston's revolutionary congregants while listening to historical accounts of chocolate's role in the lives of early New Englanders.

Following the lecture, guests will be invited to a live demonstration of 18th century techniques in chocolate making, led by Old North historical interpreters. Free samples of American Heritage Chocolate will be available, making this an excellent treat!
