If you look at any other engineering disciplines, they probably won’t even start thinking about building before they have a model of the system. While in software engineering, we still can't agree on a common way of visualising software. Methods like UML have been around for decades, but why are we in 2022 still relying on hand drawn white board diagrams with ad hoc notation?

The truth is that we can’t expect developers, let alone business stakeholders to attend week-long courses to understand a diagram. Moving fast requires good communication. If you want agility and at the same time ensuring that everyone is working towards the same goal, you need to be able to efficiently communicate your vision. One “lightweight” approach that has gained traction the last years is the C4 Model, created by Simon Brown.

This workshop will be in English.
