Title: How I crashed Techcrunch? - by Johann Romefort

Abstract: Startups could be accurately described as roller coasters. As a CTO and Co-founder of a "hot" Silicon Valley Startup, I did the unthinkable: Bring down the #1 tech news site a.k.a TechCrunch. Tonight I'll tell the backstory of one of the biggest fail I've ever had, a story that has never been made public so far!

Title: Mobile Cardiac Arrest

or How soccer let my heart skip a beat - by Manuela Rink

Abstract: "Done is better than perfect" - "80% are good enough". In our every day lifes we have to make pragmatic decisions towards getting things done in time because ironically we are running our of time. Mostly those decisions are tightly wired to changes in priorities which often result in alleged little cuts in quality measures. If a bunch of those little cuts sum up, desasters are very likely inevitable.

This talk tells the entertaining story of the rise, fall and resurrection of a soccer live ticker mobile app - from it's super successful on time launch to it's devastating breakdown on it's first expensive promoted weekend. Even if this spoilers the end - there will be a happy end. And it's a very educational one.

Title: "Fail fast, succeed faster. Or at least try." by Jasmin Mair

Abstract: After my Bachelor's I joined one of the coolest virtual reality startups leading the communication and marketing. Although the great press coverage and customer excitement we failed to develop the final product. Was it the business plan? Or was it the value proposition? After death declaration we tried to give ourselves some explanations about the failure and soon later we jumped straight into the next big thing, believing we had learned so much from the previous experience. We were sooo wrong. For now there is no happy ending, just a nice list of reminders and lessons learned.

Bio: I am a Computer Science student, currently writing my Master thesis in Munich. I have a degree in telecommunication engineering and a passion for languages. I am into different areas from user experience design to product development, and I love new challenges. During my studies I tried my luck twice and I am not going to give up on it.

Onward and upward!
