Figurative: Portrait of a Stranger

Figurative is a way to allow individuals to express themselves, relinquish control, and the burden of societal expectations through marks on paper.

Stare at the person in front of you, and let go as you draw what you see.

Take a seat at our Portraits drawing session. Whip out your sketchbook and look closely at the person in front of you, and draw. Truly see. Let your mind roam freely as your hands express what words cannot!

Bring all your own materials; we will mostly be doing pencil drawings so you will need just a sketchbook (or a sheet of paper), a pencil, and an eraser.

(Sessions are therapeutic by themselves, and you’re free to leave once done but if you would like to stay back afterwards for a confidential one on one to unload your mind and be heard without judgement or feedback, just express, you’re free to do so. Message me privately beforehand.)
