Figurative: Contours and negative space (Wassily Kandinsky: Dance Curves)

Details
Figurative is a way for individuals to express themselves, relinquish control, and the burden of societal expectations through marks on paper.
Enter into our contours and negative space drawing session.
We don't focus on details; we focus on the negative space around the subject. Trick your analytical (left) brain away from using the symbols established in childhood and switch to your creative (right) brain, which loves the beauty in abstract new shapes.
Don't doubt your instincts. Let go. Your drawing is real and perfect as you see it. Now draw.
We will be using works from Wassily Kandinsky's "Dance Curves" series for inspiration. Bring your sketchbook, pencil, and erasers, and come renew your desire for drawing.
(Sessions are therapeutic by themselves, and you’re free to leave once done, but if you would like to stay back afterwards for a confidential one-on-one to unload your mind and be heard without judgement or feedback, just express, you’re free to do so. Message me privately beforehand.)
See you there! I guarantee you will create something interesting!! 😉
