Bonita Lestina Old Town Hall Performance Series: Swingology, November 3, 2023

Swingology is proud to announce that they will be participating in the Bonita Lestina Concert Series in Fairfax City on Friday, November 3, 2023.

Swingology is a DC-area band performing hot jazz, bossa nova, manouche, swing and traditional jazz. "Hot Club Jazz" is best defined by the works of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli and was prominent in the late 30s/early 40s in Europe. It features generally up-tempo danceable rhythms with instrumentation that includes violin, guitars, and bass. You may feel you’re at Parisian cafe or Prohibition era speakeasy.

Doors open at 7:30 p.m.; seating is not assigned, so arrive early.
