Learn to DM!

Hi there, dear player of DnD 5th edition!

A table of players finds themselves with no game because the DM can no longer run... This is where you come in. We are looking for people interested in dipping their toes in DMing. Ever wondered what's really happening behind the screen? Well now is your time to find out!

What we provide:
-DMs with various levels of experience to explain to you what are the basics of DMing, share anecdotes and beginner tips and tricks that they have found useful in their journey.
-Dice, DM screen, a Dungeon Master's Guide and the basics to run a mock-up one shot. (you are welcome to bring your own)
-Encounters made from the DnD starter sets

What you need to bring
-Any form of note taking of your preference (none is also valid).
-A positive attitude and willingness to step out of your comfort zone.

The structure of the event will consist of setting DMs in tables with players, give our initial insights and explanation of the mechanics of DnD from the DM perspective, and then we will let the players take turns running basic encounters so they can get a feel for it, and we will wrap up with a bit of a Q&A session about anything still up in the air.
