Riverbend Park to Great Falls Hike with Optional Lunch

Join us for a 4-5 mile out and back hike from Riverbend Park to Great Falls. We’ll plan to hike for about 2 hours on the Potomac Heritage Trail, view the falls, and have an optional picnic lunch afterwards. It’s a scenic hike with some hills but not super strenuous.

Following the principles of the Blue Zones, we hope to get some exercise, enjoy a plant-based meal, and build a sense of community.

Mostly flat trails with Potomac River views but some hills with roots. Bring hiking poles if you like.

This is the first in a series of weekly hikes in the Northern Virginia area.
