FREE Movie Screening: Wild Inside

Join us for a FREE movie screening of "Wild Inside", presented by Avon on Tour. While the Avon Theater is undergoing renovations, they are taking their screenings to local partners. This screening will be held at Ferguson Library in Stamford.

On February 2, 2023, Flaco — a male Eurasian eagle-owl, the largest species of owl in the world — was discovered missing from his cage at the Central Park Zoo in Manhattan. Flaco escapes and sets off on a magical odyssey through the island of Manhattan. Flaco overcomes his years of captivity and lack of survival skills to answer the call of the wild – and discovers he was wild inside all along.

This screening will feature a post-film panel discussion with Jackie Emery and David Lei, wildlife photographers featured in the film. Copies of their book, Finding Flaco: Our Year With New York City's Beloved Owl, will be available for purchase and for signing.
