Friday, April 17th @ 7:30 PM: Screening of "Beasts of the Southern Wild" at Unity of Fairfax; academy award winning film with discuss following led by Jacqui Patterson, Director of the NAACP Environment and Climate Justice Program.
Saturday, April 18th @ 1 PM: Earth Day Symposium "One Earth, Many Communities: Faith Communities Partnering for Climate Solutions and Action" at Unity of Fairfax. Keynote speaker is Dr. Thomas Lovejoy, speaking on "A Wild Solution for Climate Change." Panelists include Ch. Sharon Bulova.
Saturday, April 18th @ 7:30 PM: Climate Jam Benefit Concert at Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fairfax Sanctuary. With African Percussionist Kofi Dennis; Green Rock Earth Band, Classical Indian Musicians and SongRise, Progressive Acapella.
