Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve Guide Tour and Fun Day Exploring

We need to leave the Inland Empire by 7:30am( CA-15 to C-A 79) to get to the Visitors Center at Torrey Pines and find parking before we meet at 9:30am at Visitor Center for the 1-1.5 hour hike . After that we are on our own to check out the park, beach ect. We want South Beach (upper)Parking Lot for ease to the Visitors Center , but if it fills up the lot's gate will close and the ticket kiosk inside South Beach will have a flashing light ( visible from Caramel Valley Road) indicating you'll have to go to the North Parking lot and plan to walk up. Daily Parking is $10-25, however I suggest go to your public library and get a California State Parking Pass for the day free. There are plenty of hiking trails once we finish our tour to choose from . Let's just plan on leaving early to try to get good parking. Carpooling is important so if your friends are going organize a carpool.
