Praia da Figueirinha - beach get together

Praia da Figueirinha lies on the south coast of the Setúbal peninsula, in the Arrábida Natural Park, on the mouth of river Sado. It can be reached by Fertagus trains from Sete Rios station to Setúbal and from Setubal station by the local bus 4474.
This beach is very popular for its long sandbank at the low tide, making it safe for children, but we'll make sure everybody is safe on the high tide.
From Figueirinha, one can have a beautiful view of Tróia, which lies across the water on the south bank of the river mouth.
Besides that, the beach has been awarded the Blue Flag for several years, a good sign of the excellent quality of its water.
We will set off together as a group from Sete Rios station at 14:00 o'clock. The meeting spot is outside Lidl supermarket.
