Welcome welcome, one and all, victims, demons and innocents to our first BLOOD ON THE CLOCKTOWER game of the year !

During a hellish thunderstorm, a scream echoes through the sleepy town of Ravenswood Bluff. The townsfolk rush to investigate and find the beloved local storyteller has been murdered, their body hanging limp from the clocktower. As blood drips onto the cobblestones below, a realisation slowly dawns… a demon has been unleashed, killing by night and taking on human form by day.

Can good find the demon in time? Or will evil overrun this once peaceful town?

Blood on the Clocktower is a game of murder and mystery, lies and logic, deduction and deception, twists and trickery for five-to-twenty courageous players and one devious storyteller.

A social game played in person, seated in a circle, each player receives either a ‘good’ or ‘evil’ token with their unique character on it. Good players share information to solve the mystery whilst evil players lie about who they are and what they know. The good team wins if they can piece together their knowledge, trust each other, and execute the demon. The evil team wins if the demon can sow distrust, evade detection, and wipe out the village.

We hope to be running two games concurrently, depending on player count, as to help make the games themselves a little sharper and quicker. Absolute beginners and Newbies to social deduction games are more than welcome, you will all have a blast.

Event location is at the lovely Reddingmuirhead Community Hall once more where we have the great hall booked. As a way to cover the costs of booking the venue, providing snacks and those darn Meet-up costs, we ask a cheeky 4 quid from each attendee. You can pay Paul here: MONZO PAYMENT LINK !

If new fangled techno payments aren’t your bag, we also accept cold hard cash.

IMPORTANT BITS

18+ only. It may, and when we say may, we mean PROBABLY gonna be rowdy, but only in the best way, but over 18’s only

Start time will be 7pm but there will be an event finishing up in the great hall at 7:30 so we will all congregate in Room 2 at the end of the entrance way to tea, coffee, game help and tips for newer players and to generally just shake off all our nervousness about calling out people you don't know as evil and deserving execution.

You MUST state your intention to attend on here so we know the numbers to expect. There have been a few event scraping incidents where these game nights are put on the Herald Online, please note if you are not registered to attend the game night via Meet-up, we cannot accommodate you.

If you decide to attend but later cannot make it, we ask that you please change your attendance so we know not to expect you and anyone on the waitlist can take your place.

Any questions at all, please hit me up on the DM. If this is your first time at something like this it might feel a bit like walking into a lions den, but we have a wonderful group and I will put you mind at ease. Can’t wait to see you !
