🔥 Summer Barbecue at Calendar Park – Sunday 22 June 2025 🔥

Join us for a relaxed and sociable barbecue at Calendar Park on Sunday, 22 June 2025! We'll be meeting at 12 noon and getting the barbecue going shortly after – food will be served as soon as it's ready.

🍔 What to Bring:
This is a community-style barbecue, so please bring something to share – whether that’s food, drinks, snacks, or even some cutlery or plates. All contributions are welcome!

The only rule is that any food must have clear allergy information, especially for homemade items. Food in its original packaging is perfect, as that will include the necessary labels.

To help avoid everyone bringing the same thing, please post in the event comments to let everyone know what you're bringing. That way, we can aim for a nice variety!

📋 Attendance Policy:

Due to the size of the barbecue setup, numbers are limited.

• Please only attend if you’ve signed up for the event.
• You may bring one guest, but you must register with a plus one in advance if you plan to do so.
• Please do not bring extra guests on the day, as space and food will be planned based on confirmed numbers.

☔ Wet Weather Plan:

If the weather forecast is for rain on the day, we’ll switch to our contingency plan and meet at The Carron Works (Wetherspoons) in Falkirk instead for a couple of hours.

While it’s not quite the same as a barbecue in the park, this ensures we’ll still have a chance to meet up and enjoy each other’s company, no matter the weather.

🚫 Important Rules:

• No children are allowed – due to fire risks and the potential presence of alcohol.
• Strictly no disposable barbecues (unless you have a support to elevate it from the grass) – if you bring one without a support, you will not be allowed to light it. Anyone who does so will be asked to leave our area.

This event is all about good food, good company, and enjoying the summer outdoors responsibly. If you’ve got picnic blankets, folding chairs, or outdoor games, feel free to bring them along too!
