Airth Highland Games

🎯 Meetup at the Airth Highland Games – Saturday 26 July 2025

Join us for a day of Scottish tradition, sport, and spectacle at the Airth Highland Games, one of the oldest and most iconic events of its kind! Expect a brilliant atmosphere with pipe bands, caber tossing, highland dancing, stalls, food, and fun for everyone.

🕘 Meeting Time: 9:00 AM
📍 Meeting Point: Outside the main entrance gate to the Games field in Airth. I'll post more info with my whereabouts once I arrive.

🎟 Tickets: Tickets may be bought in advance or on the day. The Airth Highland Games website can be a little tricky to navigate, so you may find it easier to start from this link: https://www.rshga.org/events/airth-highland-games – from there, you can access the main Games website and ticket information.

🚗 Getting There: Airth is reachable by car and limited public transport. I can offer lifts from Falkirk Grahamston Station – please message me in advance if you’d like a lift so we can coordinate.

We’ll meet at 9:00 AM sharp at the entrance so we’re there for the start of the event. Once inside, you’re welcome to explore at your own pace or stick with the group. There’ll be plenty to see and do – heavy events, highland dancing, stalls, music, and more!

📍 On the Day: Once I’ve arrived, I’ll post an update with my location so we can all find each other easily.

🍴 Food: There are usually food stalls, but just to be safe, you might want to bring a packed lunch, especially if you have dietary requirements or prefer to avoid queues.

🎒 What to Bring:

• Ticket (if purchased in advance)
• Cash for entry, food, or stalls
• Packed lunch, snacks, and water
• Suncream, hat, and/or raincoat – Scottish weather can be unpredictable
• A sense of fun and appreciation for kilts, bagpipes, and tradition!

⏰ End Time: The Games appear to run throughout the day, so there’s no set finish time. Feel free to stay as long as you like — let’s just enjoy a fun, relaxed day of Scottish entertainment!
