Earth Arts Kids Summer Camp Info Session

We are offering our very first summer experiences for kids 9-14.

Perhaps you are like us. Maybe you're just getting your summer plans finalized. We've added something special to the schedule. We have the opportunity to put on a summer camp for kids at the Bonita Creek Nursery in partnership with Teralta Arts Studio. And we can't pass it up, even though it's just around the corner.

We've still got openings for two weeks of summer camp: the weeks of June 6th and July 14th.

At the camp we'll learn how to build a fire, make shelters from found materials, craft with clay and use local plants for art and food. Daily collaborative building challenges will build team work, daily scavenger hunts will help kids become familiar with local animal and plant species, and there will be lots of time for kids to chill under the trees. We’ll work together during the week to make a movie, produced and shot by the children to share all they’ve learned. At the same time, we’ll contribute to the community by planting trees and making connections to new friends at the Bonita Creek Nursery.

Half day and full day slots available.

We'll talk a little bit about the camp and learn from you what other kinds of nature experiences might be fun for us to do with kids and families in the future.
