About us
Welcome to our group for Iranian families with kids in Stockholm!
We are a family with two daughters (ages 5 and 7) living in southern Stockholm. We started this group because we were looking for a network of like-minded Iranian families to hang out with on weekends. Our goal is simple: we want our kids to play together, hear and practice Persian, and give us parents a chance to grab a coffee and share the everyday puzzle of life in Sweden.
We plan to organize easy-going, low-pressure meetups such as:
- Playdates and grilling hotdogs out in nature
- Celebrating our cultural traditions like Nowruz, Yalda, and Chaharshanbe Suri (especially for the kids!)
- Casual fika meetups at local parks or cafes
House Rules: This is a strictly non-political and non-religious group. Our focus is entirely on the kids, our shared culture, and building great friendships.
