Whether you're reconnecting in this beautiful, multicultural, and diversified city of Winnipeg or meeting new family members for the first time, this group offers a warm, inclusive space for building stronger bonds. Canada is an immigrant-friendly country; people immigrate by leaving their connections back home. This is an opportunity to create family connections and socialize.
We are planning to connect 2-3 like-minded families gatherings in turns where we share stories, know each other's culture, and discover the joy of staying connected. Family meetups are casual, fun, and open to all family members—whether you're a family with kids, a family with elder parents being a parent yourself with kids or just a couple just looking to join in on some good conversation.

About us!
We are a couple of East Indian descent who got recently married here in Winnipeg! (Yayy). We are 27-28 yr old and like to socialize, learn and spread love to find connections with other families. We invited our unknown neighbours who have two kids for dinner once and eventually bonded together such that we started celebrating birthdays, professional achievements, sadness and having fun all together in this short yet long journeyof life.
We came up with the idea to start a group where people like us can come across each other paths to develop connections.
Our idea is to connect two or more families, and we could play some ice-breaking activities. (Yayy)
Do you have kids who don't have any friends and are looking forward to connecting with a similar family with kids?
Are you a couple who is living with parents and who are looking to mingle with other such family?
Are you just a couple who is looking to connect with another like-minded couple?
We could match both families by providing details of each other via private message like culture, ethnicity, dietary restrictions, age of kids, parents, a reason to connect, hosting at the house, doing a potluck, etc. and we would be glad to connect both families. Of course; we both will be breaking the ice.
You could host dinner or meet outside at a park for potluck picnic where your kids could play. Completely as per your liking.
