What we’re about

The Guild Cinema, located at 3405 Central Avenue NE, is Albuquerque's oldest and still-running movie theater--since 1966!

As fans, this group seeks to keep us in-the-know about what's screening at the Guild and to share news and information about the Guild. In addition to receiving emails from the group, we meet in person on Monday evenings for dinner at the Frontier Restaurant, located at 2400 Central Avenue SE, at 7:00 PM. Please join us if you can.

While we are an independent group of fans of the Guild Cinema, that does not mean that management of the Guild is not permitted to join us for Monday evening dinner. You never know when Keif or one (or more) of his staff will be there.

Here is some information about the Guild Cinema.

The Guild's web site is https://www.guildcinema.com.

You can learn more about the history of the Guild.

Pick up a copy of the Guild's monthly program the next time you are at the Guild. You'll find copies in the rack on the wall opposite the ticket window. Or download a copy by visiting the Guild's web site and then clicking the Monthly Program button.

Here is information about ticketing and parking.

If you want to be added to the Guild's email list, reach out to them in person, by phone or by email. You will find their contact information here.

TIP: If your calendar app or phone supports importing ICS calendar items, you can load the movie screenings by following the steps below. Once in your calendar app or on your phone, you might be able to more easily determine which screenings fit into your schedule.

1. If your calendar app or phone allows you to create multiple calendars, you might want to create a new calendar for Guild events (and perhaps change the new calendar's default item background color) because there are a lot of events and they can fill up your regular calendar.
2. Click the Events link.
3. On the Events page, click the Calendar link.
4. Scroll down to the bottom of the calendar and look for this text: "Subscribe to a feed of this calendar: RSS iCal Outlook"
5. Click iCal to download the file.
6. Follow the instructions for your calendar app or phone to import the ICS file.
