July Book Club

We willl be discussing the book our original members chose Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood.

Margaret Atwood's 2003 dystopian novel Oryx and Crake is set in a future where genetic engineering dominates and a man-made plague has decimated the population. The story is told from the perspective of Snowman, who may be the last human alive. Through Snowman's memories, the novel explores the events leading up to the plague, including his relationships with his childhood friend Crake and the mysterious Oryx.
