Once upon a time… TikTok told us to read a book, and suddenly we were deep in the world of BookTok™️—obsessed with the stories everyone’s talking about. So we teamed up with our favorite bookstore, River Bend Bookshop, to bring that magic to the studio for a night of pottery and books!
During this event, you’ll paint your own pottery while River Bend Bookshop hosts two incredible YA fantasy authors:
Taylor Grothe with Hollow and De Elizabeth with This Raging Sea.
They’ll be tabling with their newest novels, ready to chat, sign, and share their stories.
Pre-registration is required to reserve your spot—no walk-ins, please!
How it Works:
Check-in begins 10 minutes before the event start time.
Choose and pay for your pottery on the day of the event. Prices range from $18–$65.
We'll provide all paints, tools, and themed stencils to inspire your masterpiece.
No experience necessary—our friendly team will be there to guide you every step of the way.
After painting, your piece will be glazed, kiln-fired, and ready for pickup in 7–10 days. We'll call you when it's ready!
Please register with link below and add that you will be sitting with me Laura Hitt or a Meetup Group. It’s $12 to register, then as stated above the cost of the piece you will paint that night. We had a great time the last time we did an event there and this time it’s book themed. Last time I did book night they gave you a $5 discount on books to buy that night. Great time to get new reads and have fun painting!!!
