The winner of this book choice was a novella and a duology so we are going to read both books which are under 300 pages together. So still a short read for April. They are Silver in the Wood and Drowned Country the Greenhollow Duology by Emily Tesh. The Greenhollow Duology is a two-book fantasy romance series by Emily Tesh, consisting of Silver in the Wood (2019) and Drowned Country (2020). Set in a Victorian-inspired world drawing on English folklore, particularly the Green Man legends, the novellas follow the relationship between Tobias, a Wild Man of the forest, and Henry Silver, a curious new owner of Greenhollow Hall, blending myth, mystery, and queer romance.
Books in the series
Silver in the Wood (2019): The first novella, introducing Tobias and Henry, and uncovering old secrets.
Drowned Country (2020): The sequel, following Henry to a seaside town to deal with a missing girl and a monster, with Tobias in tow.
