Are you new to pickleball or just looking for a casual and social way to enjoy the game? You’ve come to the right place! Lions Park in Cumberland is an outdoor pickleball group created for beginners and recreational players who want to learn the fundamentals, improve their skills, and most importantly—have fun.
Our group focuses on a welcoming and supportive environment where everyone can play at their own pace, meet new people, and enjoy the sport. Whether you’re picking up a paddle for the first time or just looking for a relaxed game with friendly faces, we’d love to have you join us!
Come out, hit some balls, and let’s have a great time on the (4) outdoor courts together!

Each month from May through October (second Thursday evenings )
The (4) pickleball courts are reserved for new players to feel welcomed to learn the basics of the game.

Instruction is given by experienced volunteers at no cost. Equipment is supplied by the Parks Board. Please bring a water bottle and wear comfortable sneakers or tennis shoes.

Players of all ages will be learning together. Want to play regularly?
