WORKSHOP - TAKING INSPIRATION FROM THE POTTERY

With award-winning photographer Jacqui Hurst –

SAT 25 NOVEMBER 10am - 4pm

Jacqui Hurst has a stunning set of images on display in the Kiln Room Gallery at the Farnham Pottery, as part of a six photographer exhibition, running until 7 December.

Jacqui is providing a one day Workshop for a limited number of students on Saturday 25 November. This will be suitable for the amateur armed with a smart phone through to the experienced photographer with the most sophisticated SLR.

Jacqui will inspire with her insights into composition and capturing light. She looks to frame the finished photograph shot in real time and not rely on post processing. She will use the textures and historic features of the Pottery to instruct in her approach to capturing the essence of a subject. Not just looking but truly seeing.

We are privileged to have Jacqui give this Workshop at the Pottery - she is a marvellous teacher and regularly gives courses at West Dean College, Flatford Mill as well as leading groups to France and Morocco.

The workshop cost is £60 and includes lunch.
