Hack The Space (Accessibility Edition)
Details
What’s this about?
One of our members (Hannah) has done an accessibility audit.
We’re spending an afternoon/ evening making our space even better — more accessible, more creative, and more welcoming for everyone. Drop down to space anytime after 2pm and help us.
Think of it as a mix between a hackathon, a brainstorm, and a community hangout. We’ll chat, sketch, test ideas, and come up with simple ways to make the space easier to use for all kinds of people.
No coding skills needed — just curiosity and ideas! We will be moving furniture, making signage, organizing materials, figuring out best layouts for the event space and looking at current documentation.
What’s happening
- Accessibility mini-hackathon
- Idea wall (grab a pen and get creative)
- Casual workshop
Who’s it for
- Members who use the space and want to make it better
- People interested in accessibility, design, or events
- Anyone who likes problem-solving
