Fashion Illustration class - figure, fabric and composition

The plan for the class is:
1/ A brief discussion of current and historical artists: this week the focus is on Antonio Lopez
2/ Life drawing: drawing the clothed figure, with a choice of vintage garments and fabrics to play around with. Quick poses in different outfits, then a longer one. You can use this to create a multi- figure drawing ( work on the same art board)
3/ Complete individual work on tables - use any materials you like to give detail, colour, narrative and intrigue to your illustrations
4/ 1.15 pm - group feedback

I will be guiding you and giving you feedback as you work, if you need me to. For the proficient ones - enjoy a productive morning and exchange ideas.
Digital work most welcome and encouraged!

Suggested materials:
Charcoal, graphite sticks, soft pencils, watercolour, pastels, coloured paper.. anything else at all
