Reinventing fashion with AI: the day when human models are no longer needed?

In this session we'll hear from Ugnius Rimsa and Harold Smeeman from Lalaland.ai, a startup based in Amsterdam that is using machine learning to generate life-like models. The team at Lalaland team use their technology to fit pack shots to their models, giving fashion brands, their customers and consumers an infinite number of options to demonstrate how a garment will look on different body types, skin colours and sizes.

Lalaland have had a lot of press lately both within Europe and abroad. They won the Philips Innovation Award in 2020 and have been invited to interview at Y Combinator and are one of the absolute rising stars of the Amsterdam and European tech scene.
