XRVR will be hosting a high-score tournament at FAST Fest! Prepare to immerse yourself in heart-pounding pvp action inside their VR Esport Arena with the hit VR laser-tag game, ‘Versus’. Utilizing 400 square feet of co-located retro-futuristic laser tag, jump into the arena for PVP battles with your V-99 blaster and attempt to win over $200 in cash prizes!

The Tournament:
Participants in the Versus high-score tournament will be equipped with our state-of-the-art immersion gear, comprising the Focus 3 VR headset, an ergonomic immersion suit, and noise-canceling headphones to fully transport them into the arena. Each player will have from the beginning of FAST Fest until 4:00 PM to showcase their gaming prowess. Each round will be an intense 6-minute free-for-all, featuring a minimum of 3 players battling it out for high scores and glory.

Rapid-Fire Final Match:
The tension will reach its peak during the final match at 4PM with a heart-pounding spectacle that will take place across 6 maps. In this thrilling conclusion, each map will be played for an adrenaline-pumping 1 minute, pushing the contestants to their limits. Only the best of the best will emerge victorious from this fierce competition as their scores are tallied across the maps and placements are given.

The Prize Pot:
To enter the tournament, participants will pay a $10 entry fee. Half of the entry fee ($5) will be pooled into the grand prize which will be split between the top 3 winners.

The Rewards:
The prize pot starts at $125 for the first-place winner, a well-deserved reward for their unmatched skill and dominance in the virtual arena. Second place will not be left empty-handed, with a prize of $50 awaiting the runner-up. Last but not least, the third-place victor will be rewarded with $25 for their valiant efforts. The entry fee prize will be split evenly between the top 4 so that every high-scorer will walk away with something.
