This book tells the story of George who is a fat gay man on a journey of re-discovery following a particularly disastrous breakup. George escapes to a remote island and takes on the task if managing the island cafe. We follow him as he navigates his new life all while healing his past self, falling in love and dealing with a whole host of unique characters.
A heartwarming comedy with plenty of fat liberation rhetorics, this will make for a fab discussion and we can't wait to also get the opportunity to have a Q&A with Martin himself.
