Weekly Hike: Chalk Banks Trail @ Lumber River State Park

A member suggested Lumber River State Park as our next hiking spot, so come with us to check out the Chalk Banks Trail! This is one of 2 trails offered at this state park. Chalk Banks Trail is 3 miles long. The Princess Ann Trail is located at their other separate location and is 2 miles long.

Unfortunately, I have to return to my church for choir rehearsal by 1 pm on this date, so I hope no one will mind if we hike in the morning that day. If the timing works out, we might get to walk both trails while we are there.

Let us meet in the Chalk Banks parking lot at 9 am. Keep in mind this location is 1 hour west of Fayetteville. I apologize for the early start time, it is only so that we can all enjoy the hiking while I am available.
