July ILSC Meetup

Details

Greetings everyone! Let's celebrate all life on Earth being slowly eradicated by a vengeful sun god with a Meetup!

First, Dustin Sapp is going to present his experiences building Tinderbox, a proposal management SaaS app. Dustin and team built an initial version of Tinderbox in a hurry, working with customers throughout the process to fine-tune the MVP. He'll be talking about his journey toward a sellable product, and maybe tell a joke or two. (Dustin, you are telling a joke or two, right?)

Next up, center square Anthony Panozzo will be talking about Rails Themes, a product that lets you use beautiful CSS templates with your Ruby on Rails app. He'll have a business model canvas and be looking for feedback.

Finally, Richard Lamb will give a quick review of the Chicago Lean Startup Challenge (http://chicagoleanchallenge.com/). He was there for the kickoff session at the end of June, and will be iterating on his product over the next few months.

Pizza and drinks will arrive at 6pm, and we'll get started around 6:30.

Remember that July 21st is our first ILSC Desperately Seeking Validation event. Details will be provided at the July Meetup, but here's the summary:

11am-6pm(ish) Brainstorm ideas, come up with a plan to validate, then do it! Debrief afterwards and come up with better strategies for next time Sign up here (http://example.us2.list-manage.com/subscribe?u=4f7071bc6396efbc773233548&id=7aa721f5e8).
