Fissures of High Hill - Blades in the Dark
Details
Capers continue in the City of High Hill, a crew of scoundrels trying to build their reputation and influence in the criminal underworld. High Hill is a homebrew setting created with the help of the players, something that will continue in this campaign. In a departure from our previous adventures, Fissures of High Hill will use the Blades in the Dark rule set instead of D&D 5e, as players navigate the seedy underworld playing scoundrels of High Hill, compete against other factions, and build their criminal empire with their wits and luck.
Blades in the Dark is a player focused game that encourages creative story telling and narratives. It uses a dice pool of 6 sided dice (d6s) and simpler mechanics to enable faster action and cutthroat consequences.
As a newly formed group of Smugglers you will have the chance to support or foil the machinations of High Hill factions as you see fit. Your criminal contacts will be a good source of jobs, but as the fissures widen, so does opportunity.
The Player Reference Folder has the full Blades in the Dark rule book, as well as a Character Sheet, Character Builder guide, Setting Background and Faction List to get you started. More resources will be added and updated as players impact the world with their scoundrels. Your contacts will also have jobs posted before each session for you to choose from. https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/168CKmCVAHdwIGQ4DjJlaOEC56_NEyZSo
