A 10-ish, maybe more-ish, ride from Bay Area park along the Red Bluff Trail. I'm not exactly sure how to navigate the sidewalk from Bay Area Blvd. to the trail, but I'm sure we'll figure it out.

This trail has mud and some ruts, and it's a fairly smooth route suitable for a cyclocross or MTB, but probably not really great for a road bike.

There may be quite a bit of mud, depending on the rain on Saturday, so we won't be riding as a peloton, but strung out in order to keep from getting a mouthful of mud with every obstacle.

Consider this as an opportunity to get to know a new path rather than a hardcore ride. Keep in mind that a workout on the trail will be much more challenging than the equivalent distance on the road. If you normally ride a hard 30 on the road, then 10 on the trail will probably be just about right for you.

We'll meet up by the duck pond near the exit. Bring a spare tube or two and some CO2 or a pump.
