An Introduction to “A Course in Miracles”

Our next meeting will be led by our friends Donald Smith and Rob Jackson, who also lead the meetup “Saturday Morning ‘A Course in Miracles’ Study group”. They will give us an introductory overview of the Course, and the topics will be:

Introduction to Core Concepts such as Non-Duality, Forgiveness, etc. Video Excerpt from "The Forgotten Song" featuring Bill Thedford and the words of Helen Schucman, the course scribes. Q & A. "This is a course in miracles. Please take notes."...In 1965, Columbia University professor Helen Schucman received this instruction from a mysterious inner voice and began the process of transcribing what would become a 1200-page spiritual teaching called "A Course in Miracles".

The Course - whose core message of forgiveness helps people release fear and find greater love in their lives- remains mysterious to many: Is it Christian-based? Is it grounded in New Age thought? Is it a cult? We promise to answer all your questions about the course.

As always, the idea is to have an informal meeting in a relaxing environment that is conducive to discussion and learning. Hope to see you there, and feel free to invite people you know who are interested in the subject.
