Creative Madness with Laura New!

WHAT: Creative Madness with Laura New Myers! Laura has decided to come out of retirement and come visit the great state of Texas! This will be a fun studio shoot with the amazingly talented artist, model, makeup artist, and stylist who is Laura. Laura will be in town for a few days in November and we have her for the 4th for a little while. If you have a creative itch to scratch, this is the shoot for you. The more outlandish the better is typically the theme of the day and Laura always delivers. Check the attached images for examples from previous shoots we have done with her. It's always a great time, great images, and a lot of fun. I never ask her what we are going to shoot as I know it is always something fun, plus that adds to the fun a bit. She dives deep into the creative pond and handcrafts wardrobe, props, hair, makeup, as well as flows effortlessly through her poses. She transitions into a full character and needs little to no direction. You definitely don't want to miss this opportunity to work with her while she is in town.

HOW: We will be using studio strobe lighting with an assortment of lighting modifiers. All lighting equipment will be provided. We will be using GODOX Strobes and have wireless transmitters, or "triggers", for Canon, Nikon, and Sony cameras. If you have a different brand camera, you will need to bring a GODOX wireless transmitter suitable for your camera brand.

WHEN: Saturday, November 4th, 2023 from 2pm-5pm. Possibly later as I have the studio reserved for additional time in case anyone would like to book one on one shoots with Laura. Contact me privately to reserve a time slot for that if you are interested.

WHERE: We will be at the Makers Gym Studio in STUDIO A. Space is limited; therefore, RSVP Early as this event will be posted across multiple channels and groups.

WHO: This event is suitable for photographers of all experience and skill levels. You will be expected to be familiar with how to adjust the basic camera settings of your camera such as: aperture, shutter speed, ISO, white balance, and image file format. However, I'm sure that if need be, someone will be on hand that can assist you with the basics. Bring your camera manual just in case we are unfamiliar with your specific camera.
