About us
Fitness Central Cycling Club is a group of cyclists, of all abilities, that want to promote safe and fun cycling in the northwestern Lehigh Valley. Our group rides include road, mountain, gravel, and adventure routes—along with other community events.
Our goal is to get more butts on bikes and spread the joy of cycling without judgement. Please review our ride schedule and join a ride that best suits your interest and ability. Happy riding!

Stress Reliever C+/B- Pace

Here is this week's route:
12 ESR 12 · Ride with GPSDifferent routes each week, allowing us to explore the countryside around Topton and Kutztown - relatively flat routes with occasional rolling hills.
This is not a beginner's level ride.
Weekly routes will be between 20-25 miles per ride. Pace will be 15-16 mph overall average, which means we’ll be faster on the flats and slower on the hills. Please be comfortable with this distance and pace.
Total ride time will be about 2 hours with regrouping as needed. Leaders will ride at the advertised pace.
Rides will start at 5:30pm. Rain or high winds will cancel the ride. Any cancellations will be posted to the MeetUp site by 2:00pm day of ride.
All riders must have a helmet, properly functioning bike, spare tube, and hydration.

FC Thur Java Ride

This ride starts on the Veladrome parking lot.
The ride route are the "flats" out to Kutztown College and typically repeats each week because of time constraints of riders having to return to a work schedule. Ride leader has permission to call an audible on a reverse route. Time and miles are the same, hills become different.
The ride will include a stop for coffee at the Market Café in Topton. Mmmmm... coffee & maybe Biscotti.
-14-16 mph overall average. Ride speed typically 15 - 20 mph
Participants may prefer a road bike, helmet required, and don't forget water, spare tube and a friendly attitude.
Weather related cancelations are typically posted not later than 6:00-6:15 am the day of the ride.
