Intro to Docker: Build, Ship and Run Anywhere

Deploying projects on different machines can be frustrating.
Paths change, dependencies go missing, and what works on your machine might not work anywhere else. Wouldn't it be great if you could just ship your entire environment?
With Docker, that's exactly what you can do. In this talk, we'll explore how Docker helps developers package applications and their dependencies into portable containers. We'll cover the basics, create our containers, and see how Docker can simplify your day-to-day development and deployment workflows.

At the ICON tower, walk straight to the info point and ask for a visitor’s card for Dynatrace (22nd floor). They will explain your way to Tower 24.
At the second glass door, use the card reader to open it.
At the turnstiles, hold your visitor card against the reader. The screen will display the letter of the elevator to take.
