# Bios
Simo Tchokni is a software engineer with a special interest in Natural Language Processing. Most recently, she was a Senior Software Engineer at Memrise where she built awesome language learning experiences and worked on different projects, ranging from traditional backend and product engineering in Python to using Data Science to make language learning more personalised and adaptive. Previously, she worked as a Software Engineer at Google across a variety of areas, from the sentiment analysis team to improving search ranking for Google Shopping and building data analytics pipelines for Google Calendar. Simo holds a Bachelor and Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge.
