18:50 - Swarnim Kumari - Automation Testing strategy @Busuu

Swarnim has worked in Busuu for over 1 year and has started the automation testing from scratch.

She will be talking about the necessity of automation and taking us through her automation code, discussing the latest tools and coding languages that has used. There will be a look at the challenges that she faced during automation and how these issues were solved to build a nice automation framework displaying the results for each automation tests.

19:40 - Kostas Mamalis - Automation with Fluent APIs

Kostas works as a Principal Agile Developer & DevOps Engineer for MagenTys. He's got more than 14 years of experience in Agile Development, and several years practicing TDD, ATDD & BDD. He's a regular speaker at software development conventions and author of Cherry Framework (http://cherryframe.work/). He's also a co-founder of the London SDET community.

A presentation on how automation can go wrong, when no design patterns are applied or when they are misused. We will also include an introduction on Mission Pattern as a means to write meaningful, modularised code, leading to Fluent APIs.
