French Prairie Loop I (16mi/38mi) - TDC Training Ride

The Tour de Cure Training Ride series continues with a loop in the Champoeg-French Prairie area. Two distances (38mi/16mi). With the exception of exiting the park (a very short "I may need to walk" incline), the short course is flat. The long course has a single steep grade at the midpoint. Meet at the Riverside Day Use area of Champoeg State Park ($5 day use fee at the Ranger station, then turn left and follow the road about 1 mile - look for the Tour de Cure banner).

This is a full-support "ride your own pace" event, with lead riders for both distances, and support vehicles on the road. A resupply stop will be available for both routes. Riders can get a lift back to the finish line by the support vehicle if they've had enough distance for the day. A waiver form needs to be signed, so come a little early, so we can start promptly.

Cyclists do not have to be registered for Tour de Cure, but we will be happy to tell you why you should join us at the July event and fundraiser for the American Diabetes Association. For a limited time, use the code "training" to get a $10 discount on registration.
