World Premiere! The 1st Mastercoin Hackathon

Special Update - special guest Peter Todd, the Mastercoin Chief Scientist and a Bitcoin Core Developer, will be in the judging panel, and assisting hackathon participants throughout the event.

World premier - 1st ever Mastercoin hackathon!

Interesting projects, lots of prizes, collaboration ... and of course pizza, to celebrate Bitcoin Pizza day!

We will have two separate tracks:

1. Innovation Track - build your own project on the Master Protocol

1st place - $5,000

2nd place - $3,000

3rd place - $1,500

2. Core Track - solve issues on our wallets and our spec

As per our ongoing reward system (http://mastercointalk.org/index.php?topic=408.0), participants are entitled to up to $500 per bug (for critical issues). Our team will be available on site and online to assist and provide a quick turnover for any pull requests submitted.

The prizes for this track are awarded for pull requests that are accepted into Omniwallet (https://github.com/mastercoin-MSC/omniwallet), MasterChest (https://github.com/zathras-crypto/masterchest-wallet), or the spec (https://github.com/mastercoin-MSC/spec). Also, contributions to our new project mastercoind (forked off bitcoind) will also qualify (github TBD). We will award:

$500 per Critical issue, $350 per High issue, and $150 per Medium issue resolved during the hackathon.

Remote participation will be considered for these tracks, as per the interest. The Mastercoin developers will be available on our favorite communications platform - Sococo.

2. מסלול ליבה

בהתאם לתוכנית ה-bounties הרגילה שלנו (http://mastercointalk.org/index.php?topic=408.0), כל מי שתורם קוד ופותר באגים בפרוייקטי Omniwallet, Masterchest, והמפרט, מקבל פרסים.

באג קריטי - $500

באג בעדיפות גבוהה - $350

באג בעדיפות בינונית - $150

אנחנו נדאג שהמפתחים של מאסטרקוין יהיו זמינים על גבי פלטפורמת Sococo במהלך ההאקטון כדי לאפשר סבב פיתוח מהיר.

למי שמעוניין להשתתף מרחוק - אופציה זו תישקל בהתאם לעניין.
