It is not often that we can hear a concert of medieval music! This concert is organised by the London International Festival of Early Music (LIFEM). This ensemble won the last year's LIFEM Young Ensemble Competition. We will hear both music from Ars Nova and Ars Subtilior, so music from the XIVth century.

The concert takes place

The concert begins at 7PM. We can meet up 30 min before the beginning. The places are not attributed.

Let me know if you have any questions. I study medieval music so I will be able to explain / make a small presentation. Ars Subtilior, especially, is very intricate rhythmically.
