AngularJS is an open-source web application framework, that assists with creating single-page applications with CSS, HTML, and JavaScript. This powerful framework is gaining in popularity and we'll be taking a deep dive into Angular this month. Austin McDaniel will show us how to "Develop SPA with AngularJS and &.NET". Austin will give us an in-depth look at AngularJS and how we can integrate it with our .NET application. Also, Cecil Phillip will give us a introduction to AngularJS in his presentation "Angular Who?". This will be an unforgettable night full of Angular, .NET and your favorite community.
We'll be meeting at Right Space 2 Meet. Right Space 2 Meet is a cowork facility that provides a collaborative community and a professional environment for entrepreneurs, freelancers and business professionals. It offers fully furnished offices, virtual offices, coworking spaces, conference facilities and event spaces. Right Space 2 Meet is located at 100 Miracle Mile Suite #200 in Coral Gables.

Developing SPA with AngularJS & .NET
This session will be an advanced look into AngularJS. This session will cover general Angular with .NET structuring and organization. You'll learn how to hook Web API to an Angular application. We'll also cover authentication with Angular API and OWIN. Lastly, we'll cover real-time updating with SignalR and Angular models.

In this talk, we’ll look at some of the core features of AngularJS and why it’s such an attractive option for modern web applications. We’ll also look at a few options for integrating AngularJS into your existing projects and discuss some common patterns.
Cecil Phillip is a Software Developer from South Florida with many years of experience building applications on the .NET Framework. Throughout his career, his primary focus has been providing web and service based solutions for various markets. Cecil’s current tool-set of choice comprises of C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, jQuery, KnockoutJS, Entity Framework, XUnit and FakeItEasy.
