With so many great talks by well-known speakers out there, the competition for public speaking slots is getting rougher, and really demonstrating the tangible value your talk will provide the community is getting tougher. In this talk, I will share practical information learned from over 5 years of organizing & curating the content for international developer conferences and over 100 tech meetups. We will go over some important rules for writing talk titles and abstracts that showcase the true technical value to your audience, alongside increasing the chances of getting your talk selected using strategic networking, personal branding, and more.

Public Speaking in Practice - Lessons I learned

For the past few years, I had the privilege to speak at more than 500 tech events and conferences around the world. In this session, I will share with you everything I learned along the way, so you should expect some practical pieces of advice such as: How to transform an idea into a CFP, how to prepare a session for different types of events, and how to perform on stage.
I will also cover tools, hardware, and software that I use as a speaker.
