IndieWebCamp

Details

IndieWebCamp is a one-day gathering of web creators building & sharing their own websites to advance the independent web and empower ourselves and others to take control of our identities and data.

It is open to all skill levels, from people who want to get started with a web site, through to experienced developers wanting to tackle a specific personal project.

✨ Who should come?

Everyone! IndieWebCamp is for independent web creators of all kinds, and all levels, from graphic artists, to designers, UX engineers and coders; to share ideas, actively work on creating for their own personal websites, and build upon each others creations.

If you're new to the IndieWeb, check out the web site (https://indieweb.org/) and join in the discussion with other members on the Digital Oxford Slack (https://slack.digitaloxford.com).

✨ Code Of Conduct

We have a code of conduct and ask that you follow it: https://github.com/summer-of-hacks/soh19website/blob/master/CODEOFCONDUCT.md

✨ What do I need to bring?

Your computer and your brain.

We'll have tea, coffee, snacks, and drinks available throughout the day. The location is right in the heart of Oxford so there are plenty of places to pop out to for lunch / coffee.

This Summer Of Hacks event is sponsored by the lovely folk at Haybrook IT (https://haybrook.co.uk/)
