Success Redefined — Moving Beyond the "Old Map"
Details
You got the job. The salary's decent. The title looks fine on paper. Your parents stopped worrying.
You wake up at 3 AM with this feeling you don't have words for. Not panic. Not grief. Just... is this it?
You followed the map. The one you'd been handed since middle school. Degree → job → "real life." You did your part. You hit the milestones. The "I made it" feeling that was supposed to come on the other side never showed up. And the only conclusion your tired brain can come up with is that something must be wrong with you.
Nothing's wrong with you. The map was completely outdated.
The Old Map promised that getting the right things on the outside would generate the right feelings on the inside. It doesn't. It never did. We just hadn't tested it at this scale before. The hollow feeling inside the "successful" life isn't ingratitude. It's data. It's information about an equation we ran for years that doesn't work the way it was sold.
This Meetup is for the version of you that's quietly between maps. The one who can't tell anyone you feel empty inside the job you "should" be grateful for. The one who's tired of optimizing toward a future-version of yourself who never seems to arrive.
We're spending an hour together — no productivity hacks, no five-year plans, no "find your why" exercises — looking at where success actually lives, why purpose is built through small action and not found in a job title, and what happens when you stop waiting for the milestone to deliver and start noticing what's already in your week.
Bring the questions you've been afraid to ask out loud.
Thursday, May 28th, 7 PM. Online. Show up between maps.
