Feeling Good Together – A Weekly Book Circle for Mindset & Mental Wellness
Group Description:
Several years ago, during the early days of the pandemic, I found myself searching for stability and a more positive mindset. I already knew about Feeling Good by Dr. David Burns — in fact, I’d read it before — but I wanted to revisit it with fresh eyes. The only problem was, reading it on my own wasn’t enough. It was hard to really stay consistent and apply what I was reading to my day-to-day life.
That’s when I started a small group. We met weekly (or sometimes twice a month), talked through the book chapter by chapter, shared our own stories, and reflected on how the material applied to our lives. That experience was powerful — it helped me truly lock in the mindset, shift my thinking, and move away from anxiety and depression in a real, lasting way.
Now, I want to bring that group back — and open it up to others who might be looking for the same kind of support.
This group is a space to work through Feeling Good together — slowly, thoughtfully, and with real conversations. It’s not therapy, but it is therapeutic. Whether you’re reading the book for the first time or returning to it like I did, you’re welcome here.
Grab a copy however you can (library, bookstore, digital), and join us. We’ll meet online once a week to read, share, and support each other. Eventually, we might explore in-person options depending on interest.
