And now for May's Pack Walk information :):

  • You must complete the three requirements (see below) to attend. If you show up for the pack walk and have not completed ALL THREE OF THE REQUIREMENTS IN ADVANCE (see below for deadlines), you will not be able to join the group for the pack walk. Already submitted your signed release and dog's up-to-date vaccines? There's no need to resubmit (unless you need to share new updated vaccine records).
  • All dogs are welcome. No breed or temperament restrictions*.
  • One dog per handler.
  • Dog not required to attend.
  • Approx 2-mile trail out and back w/ little to no elevation gain.
  • The location and how to find us is listed in the columns on the right. Grab a parking spot (always obey parking restrictions, etc) and walk your dog around, always giving others at least 6 feet of space. >>>>>

Requirements (see below for more information about each of the following):

  • Pre-Payment
  • Dog's Up-To-Date Vaccine Records
  • Signed Release

If you show up for the pack walk and have not completed ALL THREE OF THE REQUIREMENTS IN ADVANCE (see below for deadlines), you will not be able to join the group for the pack walk.

💲Payment: Pre-payment is required. Sliding scale payment ($10-15/person, not per dog), due no later: for hikes before 12pm, 6pm the night before and for hikes at or after 12pm, 9am the morning of each pack walk. A minimum of (3) paying participants is required for the pack walk to occur. If the minimum is not met, payments will be refunded within 72 hours, otherwise, there are no refunds.

Payment Info: Zelle (tracy@feetandpaws.com) or Venmo (@feetandpaws — last digits of phone: 2236. Please do NOT mark as "goods or service".)

Why Is There A Fee For the Pack Walk And What Does It Go Toward? The fee for each pack walk helps cover the costs of hosting the pack walks (my time, experience, and costs incurred ... my insurance is greatly increased for not only hosting classes and events without breed restrictions but also specifically because these walks are not a "training class" in a classroom but a supervised socialization opportunity out in public with a certified, reward-based dog trainer). The fee also helps create accountability for those who complete their RSVP, which in turn helps me prepare appropriately for the expected size of the group.

!!Dog Vaccines: Up-to-date vaccine records (DHPP, Bordetella, & Rabies) must be emailed to tracy@feetandpaws.com no later than 24 hours before you and your dog's first pack walk.

!!Release: Signed Liability & Photo Release must be emailed to tracy@feetandpaws.com no later than 24 hours before you and your dog's first pack walk. feetandpaws.com/Tips-and-Such/Feet-And-Paws-Liability-Photo-Video-Release.pdf

!!Human Health & Safety: If you or anyone you live with are feeling sick in any way, including but not limited to fever, shortness of breath, cough, upset stomach, recent loss of taste or smell, etc., do not attend the pack walk.

As Always,
Bring:
✔️Your dog on a 6 foot leash—NO retractable leashes or slip collars (One dog allowed per handler). You must hold on to the leash at all times.
✔️Water for you & your dog (don't forget a bowl)
✔️Sturdy shoes

Ask:
✔️Each dog's owner if you can approach BEFORE approaching
✔️For yellow ribbon if your dog needs space

FYI: To make pack walks successful, they are cross-posted, and attendance is drawn collectively from all platforms, so the number you see here may not reflect the final number.

I can't wait to meet you and your dog!

*🐕 Unsure if your dog should attend and/or feel they need more training? Post a comment below or send me an email (tracy@feetandpaws.com), and we can discuss your concerns.
