Holiday Decorations Renton Walk - Note the 11:15 am Start Time at a Renton: New Location: King County Renton Library to enjoy seeing the holiday lights and decorated businesses plus art work around the City of Renton.
This walk will begin at 11:15 am outside the King County Renton Library. The library opens at 11:00 am and restrooms are available inside the library. Please: Do Not park in the library parking lot, instead use free on-street parking or see Parking below for available options.
This is a group led walk, approximately 2-3 miles roundtrip and about 2 hours. Join Feet First Neighborhood Walking Ambassador Val Ensor and other Feet First Volunteers to walk from a NEW LOCATION.
WHERE TO MEET:
This walk begins and ends at the Renton Library, located at: 100 Mill Ave S, Renton, WA 98057. Val will share some facts and history about the City of Renton, share details about some of the outdoor artwork and before we return to the library, together we will visit an iconic building in downtown Renton. Find Val who will be wearing an orange coat.

PARKING: No Parking at the Library. Please use either free on-street parking located on nearby streets (be sure to check signs for any time limits) or the City Center Parking Garage in downtown Renton is a 6-min walk to the library from the garage, located at: 655 South 2nd Street, Renton, WA 98057 Link to see the garage In the garage, it's free parking (except the monthly permit spots) which the link will advise which ones are reserved.
RESTROOMS: Are located inside the library, be signed in (with Val) ready to leave by 11:15 am.
DURING THE WALK: We will be crossing streets, walking on sidewalks and need to be mindful of uneven pavement. The weather is currently looking like rain so please dress accordingly and wear sturdy walking shoes or boots. We ask that you wear bright colored clothing so we can be seen when crossing roads.
This walk will be at a steady pace, about 1.5-2 mph. It is suitable for anyone who can easily walk up and down slanted sidewalks, mindful when crossing busy streets, intermittent traffic noise, uneven pavement and whatever the weather delivers. Children are welcome. Please see note about dogs.

Well behaved dogs are welcome; however, they will not be allowed inside a building, unless they are a guide dog. Thank you for your understanding.
